Ontrack Success Story Weeds & Seeds Newsletter

MSM’s “On Track” Youth Program provides
training and opportunity to improve your
personal skills so that you can make connections
with employers in the community.

We promise to help you with the best of our ability!

Our Goals

MSM must help youth accomplish one of the 3 goals set by the WIA (Work First
Investment Act).

The 3 goals are:

Basic Skills
These are the skills used in everyday life: generally, basic math, English, and life skills.

Workreadiness
These are skills which are needed by every person in any work place. Work
readiness is divided into 4 modules: Career Development, Work Ethics, Basic
Computer Skills, and Leadership.

Occupational skills
These are skills used by the individual at their work site. MSM cooperates with
worksites so that youth can receive proper training.
Upon completing one or all of these goals youth will receive an incentive.
