ESL / RRA Refugee Limited English Proficient

My Service Mind provides ESL classes for adult refugees and immigrants to prepare them for obtaining a job, to help them improve their English skills for the workplace or to prepare them to enter a citizenship class. The ESL program includes:

Our programs provide service for adult immigrants and refugees in a supportive and culturally diverse environment.

Our ESL class help students to gain employment and become eligible for better paying jobs. They learn to use English with confidence on the job and in the community.

Our students come from Asia, Russia, Moldova, and Ukraine.

We are serving almost 80 people with different background.

• Morning and evening classes
• Instruction at three levels (Levels 1, 2, and 3)
• Testing for placement and progress
• Small classes up to 1 – 12 students with individualized attention
• Instruction in daily living activities, vocabulary acquisition, pronunciation and grammar
• Professional ESL instructors
• Computer assisted instruction for additional study and practice

My Service Mind has provided ESL and citizenship classes to the community since 1995. All ESL classes follow Washington State Competency guidelines, and prospective students complete a CASAS assessment exam for class placement.
